After hearing rumours of WAs (Western Australias) largest 4WD show and being invited by a few suppliers we decided it was about time to go checkout what is happening on the other side of the ditch. After all this has been on the bucket list for some time.
As soon as we stepped off the plane WA was like a 4x4 candy store. Landcruisers, 4wds & campers filling up every 3rd vehicle. These trucks were all mostly heavily modified and critically good looking. Anything less than modified looked out of place.
Arriving at the 4WD show the car park was filled up with 2,000+ trucks of every kind. Letting you know the attendees are serious about their vehicles.
One of the nicest setup we’ve ever seen for expedition was the Alu-Cab fit out. Exceptional quality all around. The likes of which has been extensively covered by the famous YouTube blogger Andrew Pierre who had his impressive trophy out on display with the Alu-Cab Hercules Landcruiser Troopy Roof Conversion. We’ve been following this guy for some time and was great to finally have a look inside his truck. If I've ever had truck jealousy this was that moment.
Manta exhausts were also showing a well-deserved presence at the show. Seeing most of the vehicles in WA sporting their setup in their 500+ nationwide distribution was assuring.
Even the carpark was packed with amazing trucks!
One of the perks of visiting Perth is you're never far from the beach. And being able to end the day on a sunny beach with some brews will keep us coming back.
