When you purchase an aftermarket steering wheel you will be needing a boss kit so that you can use your steering wheel on your vehicle. HKB Japan is known worldwide for having the best quality boss kits in the market.

You need to unbolt your factory steering wheel from your vehicle and bolt the boss kit in the place of your steering wheel. It should fit on snugly. Once the boss kit is on you can bolt your choice of aftermarket steering wheel.

Shipping & Delivery

Flat $8 shipping throughout New Zealand on selected items.

Flat Rate shipping is applicable for shipments weighing less than 5kg and volumetrically less than 0.035m3. 

Shipping rates for heavier or bulkier items can be found during the checkout process and apply to individual units. 

If you are purchasing more than one unit or you are unsure of the shipping, please contact us to confirm. Staff will use common sense and will work with you to get your items to you as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

Same-day shipping is available for Auckland if ordered before 9 a.m.; otherwise, it is the following day. The rest of the North Island takes approximately one day, and the South Island takes 2-3 days. For the rest of the world, contact us for an estimate. 

Returns, Store credit & Replacements

14-day returns policy


We have a hassle-free returns policy, even if you have changed your mind. We accept returns within 14 days after the invoice date, and can exchange with another product. Cash refunds are not issued in this instance. Excludes drop-shipped, clearance or sale items and products built to order. No questions asked if the product is in original condition and with our packaging. Email for refund or return information. 


Any issue or fault with a product must be brought to our attention immediately by contacting us at before any action is taken . We will then consider the best course of action, which may include you returning the product for inspection.

Once the item is received we will assess the fault. All faulty products will be inspected/tested by either the original manufacturer or a professional. This process time frame varies depending on the product. If the product fault is deemed a manufacturers fault a full credit or replacement can be offered.

We do not cover any additional fitment costs, certification costs, extra parts required to make the item fit or work or any loss of time/wages/business occurred. The product provided even if it is stated as a “direct fit” does not imply no additional parts maybe required.
